China Taizhou Plastics Industry Association(TZPIA) is a group of plastics industry manufacturers, supports this move to the fullest extent by setting up the organization to assist plastics enterprises developing technology through concentrated efforts of the industry's individual enterprises. TZPIA provides information and guidance to the government, and takes part in government economic programs.
China Taizhou Plastics Industry Association(TZPIA) was founded in 2001, Today TZPIA has a membership list of nearly 200 dedicated businesses, all uniting to serve the plastics industry, local business as well as foreign communities.
Taizhou is the largest base for plastic mould and It is well-known as “Hometown of Moulds” and “Kingdom of Plastic Products” in China and abroad.There are more than 10,000 plastics enterprises in the plastic industry and their annual sales reach 40 billion RMB in 2007. The annual output of the plastic products and accessories amounted to 7.66 million tons in 2007, which took 70% of the national market possession rate.
TZPIA 's Functions
China Taizhou Plastics Industry Association(TZPIA) is a bridge to connect TZPIA 's members enterprises and Government office. Main TZPIA 's Functions:
1. Investigation, research and compilation of information on domestic and foreign plastics industries.
2. Investigation of materials and energy resources for members enterprises, and coordination of related resources for members.
3. Organizing Exhibitions and Seminars
4. Helping foreign buyers to find the right products and the right supplier.
5. Compilation of information on marketing, and assistance in marketing for members.
6. Promotion of technical cooperation in plastics industry.
7. Participation in social activities, Organizing delegation to attend and exhibit to plastics fairs .
8. Support in exhibiting members' products, and encouragement of intercommunication and information sharing among members.
9. Involvement in the formulation of economic policy and business laws and regulations by the government.
10. Performance of general services for members, business groups and public officials on request.
11. Fulfilling other duties required by law or government authorities.
